What is CAYLA?
CAYLA is an advocacy training program designed to empower Catholic youth to become agents of social change, following Pope Francis’ call in Christus Vivit and his messages to IMCS Pax Romana.
This year’s academy will focus on:
- Catholic Social Teaching and its real-world applications
- The Pax Jubilee Campaign (2025-2027) for peace, justice, and care of creation
- Leadership and advocacy skills for the Rome Commitment for Peace, Justice, and Care for Creation
Program Highlights:
- Immersion & Exposure Experience – Engage with local communities near Chiang Mai
- Gospel & Movie Reflection – Deepen your understanding of faith and action
- Catholic Social Teaching & UN Agenda – Learn about social justice, environmental protection, and human rights
- Strategic Action Planning – Develop concrete advocacy campaigns for your communities
- Connection with Global Catholic Networks – Meet leaders from IMCS Pax Romana, Pax Christi, and more
Who Can Apply?
- Catholic students and young Catholic workers/professionals (ages 18-33)
- Passion for peace, justice, and environmental action
- Proficiency in English (spoken & written)
